AFC Cup, a Prestigious Football Trophy in Asia

Do you know the history of the AFC? …. The AFC is a football league champions for the countries in the Asian region. League is starting a game in 1967 that followed by eight football clubs until 1971. Retaired since that year then then resumed in 1986 at the tournament again after vacuum 15 years from the tournament activities. Domestic football league that joined in the AFC originated from combination of Cup Winner Asian, Asian Champions Cup and Asian Super Cup. AFC purpose and goal is to unify the league that previously to be more professional and focused. This competition began to be merged since 2003 and until today the number of clubs that follow the AFC Asian Champions League totaling 32 teams.
